Darrell Chatraw, our Lead Pastor, was born and raised in Bainbridge, Georgia. After graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1969, he attended the University of Georgia where he met and married his wife, Margaret. He received a bachelor’s degree in math education and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force on June 8, 1973.
Darrell’s Air Force career spanned 9 years. During that time, he served as an Instructor Pilot in the T-37 and flew the A-10 Warthog in Europe. It was then that he felt a definite call to ministry and was ordained into the ministry by Friendship Baptist Church in Melton, England.
After separating from the Air Force, Darrell and Margaret eventually settled in Orangeburg, SC where they planted and pastored New Covenant Church. They served there 13 years, and then moved to Americus, GA and pastored Cornerstone Church for 7 years. In August of 2004, Darrell resigned as pastor of Cornerstone Church and moved to Milton, Florida, to plant a new Vineyard Church in the Milton/Pace area.
Margaret recently retired as Youth Services and Genealogy Coordinator for the Santa Rosa County Library System. Darrell and Margaret have three children. Their oldest son, Jason, is President of Ampelon Publishing, a Christian publishing company, and he is also an author. Jason and his wife, Janel, have three daughters and a son – Faith, Julia, Sarabeth, and Elijah – and live in Boise, Idaho.
Aaron, their middle child, also served in the US Air Force, flying KC-135s out of McConnell AFB in Wichita, Kansas, and Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia. He is now a pilot with American Airlines, after working several years as a mechanical engineer at Ascend Performance Materials in Pensacola. He and his wife Lesy and their two daughters, Bella and Mila, make their home in Milton, Florida.
Their daughter, Malinda is a former AF Captain and now stay at home mom. Her husband, Tim Billings, is a Major in the USAF Reserves stationed at Joint Andrews Base, Maryland. They have two daughters, Caroline and Adelaide, and two sons, Tyler and Ian.
Moriah and Elizabeth Seaman have been serving together in ministry since they met at Greenville University in 2010. "Mo" and "Biz" lead worship together and have also served with kids, youth, small groups, and other ministries.
They both have a deep passion for ministry and a desire to see God's Kingdom come in its fullness for US churches. They have a beautiful daughter, Zoe, born in June 2017.
Moriah, who also goes by "Mo", was raised in ministry, playing drums, bass, or guitar for his parents' worship teams. He graduated from Greenville University with a degree in Digital Media, and he loves to use his those skills to support his ministry. He also enjoys disc golf, audiobooks, games, and pretty much any other form of digital entertainment.
Elizabeth, who also goes by "Biz" (a fun story you should ask her about some time), has always enjoyed singing. It didn't take long for her to find her passion as a worship leader. She and Mo began leading worship together their final year together at Greenville University. She enjoys swing dancing, reading, going for walks with friends, spending time with Zoe, and watching movies with Mo.
Mo and Biz love to write songs together and are in the process of recording an album of original worship songs. They're so thankful for where God has brought them, and they continue to trust His leading in every step of their ministry together.
